Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to be one of the first faces customers meet in our Lewistown store. You will use your sales expertise to help customers find products and turn project ideas into reality.

You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales, while delivering exceptional consulting services and helping customers achieve home improvement goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (3 years external if education requirement not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with targets or metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimum lift of 25 lbs.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, including estimating projects and scheduling services.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
