Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to engage customers, understand project needs, and close sales with expert product knowledge. You’ll move through the store, answer questions, and drive customer satisfaction.

You’ll inform customers about specifications, promotions, and financing options while delivering consultative service to meet home improvement goals. The role supports varied departments and emphasizes teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months at Lowe’s retail.
• 1 year in sales or customer service with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be able to stand and sit for prolonged periods, lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and promoting Lowe's products.
• Serve as department liaison for customers and vendors, manage orders and installs.
• For Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors for stock replenishment.
• Perform price reviews per policy and maintain pricing docs.
• Support checkout, calls, pages, and assistance requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
