Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to engage customers, understand project needs, and help them choose the right home improvement solutions. You will become the product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You will be active on the sales floor, assist with orders and installations, and support team training while ensuring outstanding customer service and accurate pricing. Prior retail sales experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
• Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand their needs and communicate product advantages
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule visits, process orders and follow up on installations
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate replacement stock with vendors/other stores
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation
• Support checkout functions and assist across departments
• Train associates on the Sales floor and contribute to development discussions
