Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification includes high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s if education requirement not met).
• 1 year experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and vendors, providing estimates, scheduling installers, processing orders, and following up for project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock replacement.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and department inquiries.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
