Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to engage customers, understand their project needs, explain product details, and close sales in a fast-paced home improvement environment. You’ll become a product expert, supporting customers across departments and helping them achieve home improvement goals.

The role involves active movement around the store, assisting customers, processing orders, and collaborating with associates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer‑facing sales experience or 6 months in Lowe’s retail (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance as needed; may require licensure/registration if required by state.

Responsabilités

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating Lowe’s product advantages.
• Act as point of contact for customers and vendors within the department; prepare estimates, schedule installers, process orders, and follow up.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing records.
• Support all checkout functions and assist with department pages.
