Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist who will be one of the first people customers meet, helping them find products and turn ideas into reality. You will move throughout the store, answer questions, and assist customers in achieving home improvement goals.

You will become the product expert, sharing specifications and financing options to close sales, and supporting multiple departments based on needs. The role includes training colleagues and handling orders with care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, handling orders and scheduling installations.
• In the Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and departmental requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
