Job summary

Lowe's in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sales Specialist to engage customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You’ll be the first face customers meet, delivering friendly service, product knowledge, and timely assistance to close sales and foster loyalty.

In this part-time role, you’ll work on the sales floor in various departments, gain exposure to promotions and financing options, and learn our products while supporting store operations and customer

Qualifications

1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months in Lowe's retail, or 3 years external sales.
Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic; stand for long periods.
Willingness to obtain sales licensure/registration as required by state; employer support.

Responsibilities

Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and selling Lowe's benefits.
Be a department contact, estimate projects, schedule installers, and track orders.
In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to reorder stock.
Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
Support checkout functions and store communications.
Train department associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
Complete other duties as assigned.
