Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and help them select products to complete home improvement projects. You will become a product expert across departments, sharing specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs.
• Obtain sales-related licensure/registration if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, handling project estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and respond to requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
