Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to engage customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the best home improvement solutions. You will become a product expert, discuss specifications, promotions and financing options to close sales.

You’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, while supporting checkout and training team members. This role offers growth and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales if education is not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, estimate projects, schedule installer visits, and track orders.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and work with vendors to find merchandise and restock.
