Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them toward the right products and services. You will become the product expert, explain specifications, promotions, and financing options, and help close sales on the sales floor or garden center.

You will work in one of several departments and support store operations while delivering friendly, efficient service that helps customers complete their home improvement projects successfully.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer‑facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience; or 3 years external sales in lieu of Lowe’s experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating the advantages of Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule installers, process orders, and follow up for project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
