Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers to the store and help them find the right products for home improvement projects. You will interact with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role supports various departments, including Appliances, Hardware, Tools, and Home Décor, with on-the-job training and a flexible part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smart phones, tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic; able to perform duties requiring standing/sitting
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation
• Bi-lingual skills preferred; certification in department skills is a plus

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time fulfillment
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare merchandise in department based on customer needs
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
