Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in the United States, Richmond, VA. You will warmly welcome customers, help them find products for home improvement, and ensure each interaction ends with a positive shopping experience.

You will work across departments, assist with merchandising, answer questions, process orders and deliveries, and participate in cross-training to deliver outstanding service. Benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic data entry.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (phones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties throughout the shift.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance as needed.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and handle other duties as assigned.
