Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Portland, ME to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement projects. You’ll listen, answer questions, and ensure customers’ needs are met while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand or sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
