Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure excellent service across departments. You may assist in stock, processing orders, and preparing merchandise to meet customer needs.

The role offers opportunities to learn trade skills and grow within a large home improvement retailer. Ideal candidates will have basic computer skills, comfort with smartphones/tablets, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
• Able to stand/sit for long periods while performing duties
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation when needed

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt
• Cross-train in other departments to improve customer service
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
