Qualifications

• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current license to practice as a PTA in the assigned state.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a PT per plan of care.
• Observe and report patient responses and any changes to the supervising PT and clinical staff.
• Document supervisory activities in the patient’s medical record.
• Monitor patient response to PT interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Participate in care conferences, in-services, audits and quality-improvement activities.
