Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program as set by CAPTE.
• One year related PTA experience in home health care, or approval from regional leaders for less experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment and changes in condition.
• Documents supervisory activities and maintains patient records.
• Monitors patient progress and participates in care conferences and quality improvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
