Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home care and act only within the supervising PT's plan.
• Instructs and assists patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility training.
• Observe, record, and report patient response to treatment and coordinate care with the health care team.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health team on therapy within PTA scope.
• Function effectively in diverse home settings.
