Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home-based physical therapy and the plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, and ADLs.
• Record and report patient responses; coordinate with PT, nurse, and physician.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy within the PTA scope.
• Deliver therapy in home settings regardless of age, race, or disability.
