UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver skilled care in patients' homes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence while promoting safety and quality of life at home.

Requirements include graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program, current PTA licensure in the state, CPR certification, and 1+ years of PTA experience.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program as set by CAPTE.
• Current license to practice as a PTA in the assigned state.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ years of PTA experience in home health or similar setting preferred; if less, regional leadership approval and mentoring/ residency may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Document patient responses to treatment and progress in medical records.
• Promote safety and wellness, and coordinate discharge planning with the care team and community resources.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Participate in care conferences and quality improvement activities.
