Job summary

Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) / CNA for immediate openings in our local service area. This field-based role requires an active HHA or CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, your own reliable vehicle, and auto insurance with your name listed on the policy.

You will assist patients at home with bathing, mobility, meals, light housekeeping related to care, observe changes, provide companionship, and coordinate with nurses.

Qualifications

• Active HHA or CNA certification is mandatory at time of application.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving is preferred.
• Reliable, compassionate, and dependable individuals who can work independently in patient homes.
• Reliable attendance and professional communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Communicate with nurses and other members of the clinical team.
• Travel between patient homes throughout the local service area.

Transportation Requirements

This is a field-based home health position, and travel between patient homes is required.
