Job summary

Guardian Angel Home Care is a rapidly growing home health agency delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their homes. We are hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) / CNAs for immediate openings across San Diego County.

You will assist patients with hygiene, mobility, meals, and daily activities, while monitoring health conditions and providing emotional support. Travel between patient homes is required in this field-based role.

Qualifications

• Active HHA or CNA certification is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are mandatory.
• Auto insurance must show your name on the policy.
• You must be able to travel between patient homes.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Communicate with nurses and other members of the clinical team.
• Travel between patient homes throughout San Diego County.

Transportation Requirements

This is a field-based home health position, and travel between patient homes is required.

• Your name listed on the auto insurance policy
