Job summary

Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking Home Health Aides and CNAs for immediate openings in the San Diego area. The role requires active HHA or CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and auto insurance in your name.

Work includes in-home support, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship across patient homes. Travel between patient locations within San Diego County is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.

• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Communicate with nurses and other members of the clinical team.
• Travel between patient homes throughout San Diego County.

What We’re Looking For

• Active HHA OR CNA Certification — REQUIRED
• Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving preferred
• Reliable, compassionate, and dependable
• Ability to work independently in patient homes
• Reliable attendance and professional communication

Transportation Requirements

This is a field-based home health position, and travel between patient homes is required.

You MUST have:

• A valid driver’s license
• Your own reliable vehicle
• Your name listed on the auto insurance policy
