Job summary

Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking Home Health Aide (HHA) / CNA to join our field-based caregiving team. You will travel between patients' homes across California, providing compassionate care including personal hygiene, mobility support, meals, and light housekeeping.

Active HHA or CNA certification is required. A valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and your name on auto insurance are mandatory. Full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive hourly pay are available.

Qualifications

• You must have an active HHA or CNA certification at the time you apply.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving is preferred.
• Reliable, compassionate, and dependable with good communication.
• Ability to work independently in patient homes with reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
• Help with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Communicate with nurses and other members of the clinical team.
• Travel between patient homes throughout the local service area.

Transportation Requirements

This is a field-based home health position, and travel between patient homes is required.
