Job summary

Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) / CNAs for immediate openings across the local service area. The role requires active HHA or CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance in your name.

This field-based position includes travel between patient homes in San Diego County. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive hourly pay and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and PTO for eligible

Qualifications

• Active HHA or CNA certification required.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving preferred.
• Reliable, compassionate and dependable.
• Ability to work independently in patient homes.
• Reliable attendance and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Help with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Communicate with nurses and other members of the clinical team
• Travel between patient homes throughout the San Diego County
