Job summary

Guardian Angel Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides and CNAs for immediate openings across San Diego County. This field-based role requires you to visit patients in their homes, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining accurate communications with the clinical team.

You must hold an active HHA or CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and your name on auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
• Help with mobility, transfers, ambulation and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Communicate with nurses and clinical team.
• Travel between patient homes throughout San Diego County.

What We’re Looking For

• Active HHA OR CNA Certification — REQUIRED
• Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving preferred
• Reliable, compassionate, and dependable
• Ability to work independently in patient homes
• Reliable attendance and professional communication

Transportation Requirements

This is a field-based home health position, and travel between patient homes is required.

You MUST have:

• A valid driver’s license
• Your own reliable vehicle
• Your name listed on the auto insurance policy

Transportation is not provided by the company.
