HomeWorks Energy, Inc. seeks a Home Energy Specialist to help homeowners become more energy efficient by performing Mass Save Home Energy Assessments and modeling homes with energy software.

This role is field-based and commission-driven, offering strong earning potential with paid training and benefits. Training begins January 11th; travel may include gas reimbursement or hotel accommodations depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• BPI Certification a plus.
• Experience in customer service and sales preferred.
• Mass Save program knowledge a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsabilités

• Energy Assessment: Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments.
• Utilize energy efficiency software to model homes and generate energy savings reports.
• Recommend energy-saving measures such as insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC systems.
• Sales and Customer Service: Initiate sale and secure service contracts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits.
• Use effective sales techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals.
• Organize and guide customer through paperwork processes.
• Installation and Documentation: Install energy-saving products during assessments, including thermostats, water saving devices, and power strips.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Professional Development and Collaboration: Continually improve product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing learning, including staying informed on the latest energy-saving options and technologies.
• Collaborate with internal divisions to cross-sell products and services.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
