HomeWorks Energy, Inc. is seeking a Home Energy Specialist to conduct Mass Save assessments, model homes, and recommend energy-saving measures in residential settings. You will drive to customer appointments from home and report to local offices weekly.

The role blends energy efficiency expertise with consultative sales, requiring strong communication, organization, and independent work in a fast-paced environment. Comprehensive paid training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel required.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Mass Save program knowledge a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduit Energy Assessment: Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments.
• Model homes and generate energy savings reports using energy software.
• Recommend insulation, LED lighting, and high‑efficiency HVAC measures.
• Sales and Customer Service: Initiate sales and secure service contracts; educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits.
• Organize and guide customers through paperwork processes.
• Installation and Documentation: Install energy-saving products during assessments (thermostats, water savings devices, power strips); complete paperwork promptly.
• Professional Development: Improve product knowledge and sales skills; stay informed on energy-saving options and technologies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell products and services.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
