Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Home Therapies RN CAP 1 to join the ESKD health care team. This role focuses on assessing patients, coordinating care, and educating families on home dialysis options.

You will collect dialysis data, adjust plans with physicians, and participate in staff training, on-call rotations, and quality improvement activities within a hospital or clinic setting.

Qualifications

• RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience is entry level under CAP 1.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Collect and analyze dialysis data and adjust treatment plans as needed with physician notification.
• Educate patients and families about home dialysis and treatment options.
• Train patients and home partners on safe, effective operation of home dialysis equipment.
