Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Colorado Springs seeks an entry level Home Therapies RN CAP 1 to coordinate and deliver home dialysis care. You will assess, plan, and evaluate patient therapy while teaching patients and families, documenting care, and coordinating with physicians.

Responsibilities include medication administration, emergency response, data collection, and collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team. Growth through CAP is expected within a supportive health care setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of employment.
• CPR BLS certification required.
• Completion of CAP requirements to advance.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for home dialysis patients.
• Document and adjust treatment plans; notify physician as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home dialysis training and options.
• Administer medications per approved protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel as required.
