Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Atlanta, GA is seeking an entry-level registered nurse for the Home Therapies CAP 1 program. The role focuses on providing and coordinating clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, including home dialysis training and treatment.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will work under supervision, participate in teaching and quality improvement, and hold responsibilities across assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Coordinate home dialysis training and treatment with physician input.
• Educate patients and families on home dialysis care.
• Administer medications per protocol and ensure documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff training.
