Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem/tractor/straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, adhering to DOT regulations and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, maintaining logs, and ensuring secure loading. 21+ with CDL A and doubles endorsement preferred; benefits begin Day 1.

Qualifications

• CDL A with doubles endorsement required.
• Experience with trailer/pre-trip inspections preferred.
• Must meet DOT regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect tractor/truck and trailer for safety and compliance.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes.
• Park and store tractors and trailers in designated areas.
• Complete required route paperwork and log hours of service.
