Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to Operating Company locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will drive a tandem, tractor-trailer, or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes, adhering to DOT regulations and safety guidelines.

The role requires a valid CDL-A with a Doubles endorsement, 12 months of driving experience, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and work a Sunday-Thursday night schedule. Benefits start Day 1.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follow DOT rules and company safety guidelines.
• Drive and deliver trailers on scheduled routes.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
• Maintain clean tractor and trailer; keep area tidy.
