Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to operating locations and deliver full trailers to domicile and shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem trailers, tractor trailers and straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, following DOT regulations and safety guidelines while communicating professionally with customers and co-workers.

The role requires a valid CDL A with doubles endorsement, 1 year of driving experience, a clean MVR, and a DOT

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) for past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect tractor/trailer and secure freight.
• Drive and deliver trailers per route schedule.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and yard areas.
