Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant to advise homeowners, diagnose comfort needs, and present tailored HVAC and water heater options. This outside sales role blends consultative selling, education, and relationship management to maximize success.

Responsibilities include leveraging internal leads and building your own prospect pipeline, collaborating with the technical team during site visits, and staying current on energy-efficient technologies.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required; Bachelor's degree or related sales certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience; direct-to-consumer selling preferred.
• Strong business development abilities, negotiation skills, and closing capability.
• Ability to educate customers and present technical concepts clearly; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Consultative selling of high-efficiency HVAC and water heater systems to customers.
• Build lasting relationships and ensure customer satisfaction, trust and retention.
• Drive growth through internal leads and personal prospecting to close sales.
• Collaborate with technical team during site visits to tailor solutions to homes.
• Stay informed on energy-efficient technology and service methods.
