Job summary

Ambercare in Carlsbad, NM seeks a driven Service Coordinator to lead scheduling caregivers, ensure top-quality service, and support field staff. You will handle client updates, maintain care plans, and step in to keep operations on track.

The role requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, high school diploma, and at least four years of office experience. You’ll work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with on-call weekends; the position offers benefits and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system and manages changes due to client requests, illness, vacation, or leaves of absence.
• Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client’s care plan is followed and services are not interrupted.
• Contacts care providers and clients to provide service updates and conducts monthly wellness calls and home visits as required.
• Supervises direct service employees by setting attendance, performance, and conduct expectations and enforcing policies.
• Ensures the branch environment is professional and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
