Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers to their future home, helping identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process to deliver a world class home buying experience.

The role emphasizes relationship-driven sales, strong communication, and teamwork across a hands-on sales environment with opportunities for growth and commissions. Full-time, on-site with comprehensive benefits and a base salary plus commission.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relationship driven B2C sales preferred
• Retail environment understanding
• Ability to obtain manufactured home sales licensing
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for sale of manufactured homes
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Team oriented and able to work in a collaborative environment
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work Saturdays
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers to identify floor plans and select options to fit their needs
• Coordinate the construction process to deliver a seamless home buying experience
• Present demo homes and explain features and benefits to buyers
• Set appointments by converting ads, calls and web leads
• Attend sales meetings and participate in training and company functions
