Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting a floor plan, options, and coordinating construction to deliver a world-class home buying experience. You will engage buyers, demonstrate model homes, and leverage CRM to follow up and convert leads, while thriving in a team-oriented sales environment.

You’ll participate in training, attend meetings, and contribute to merchandising and prospecting efforts in a dynamic Clayton retail setting.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred
• General understanding of the retail environment
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons
• Ability to move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs.)
• Subject to criminal background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Help customers identify a floor plan and options for their new home
• Coordinate the construction process to finalize home delivery
• Demonstrate features and benefits of displayed homes to potential buyers
• Set home center visits and appointments from prospect database and leads
• Participate in sales meetings, training opportunities and company events
• Work as part of a cooperative team environment to support sales goals
