Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting a floor plan, options, and coordinating construction. You will present model homes, demonstrate features, and convert leads into appointments while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role offers a base salary of $50k plus an aggressive commission plan, with benefits and a team-oriented, growth-focused environment. Applicants should be able to work Saturdays and walk the lot to showcase homes across

Qualifications

• 6 months of relationship-driven B2C sales preferred.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements for manufactured home sales.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift furniture up to 75 lbs.
• Subject to background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers to identify floor plans and options and coordinate construction process.
• Demonstrate model homes and features to create value for buyers.
• Set appointments using CRM data and lead sources.
• Follow up with prospective buyers to maintain relationships and move them through the buying process.
• Participate in sales meetings, trainings and company-sponsored events.
• Support merchandising and inventory presentation at the home center.
