Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant to help customers find a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process. You will demonstrate homes, set appointments, and follow up with prospects to create a world-class buying experience.

The role offers a $50k base salary plus a commission plan and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision, 401(k) with company match, paid leave, and volunteering opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship-driven, business-to-consumer sales.
• General understanding of the retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team and stay organized.
• Willing to work Saturdays and maintain professional demeanor.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.
• Ability to move and lift furniture up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Help customers identify a floor plan and select options for their home.
• Coordinate the construction process to deliver a world-class buying experience.
• Demonstrate home features and benefits to potential buyers.
• Set home center visits using the prospect database and web leads.
• Maintain customer files and follow up with prospects via CRM.
• Assist manager with inventory, decorating models, and presentation.
• Participate in sales meetings and company-sponsored training.
