Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through the home buying journey — from selecting a floor plan to coordinating the construction process. The role emphasizes relationship building, product knowledge, and strong customer follow-up.

You will work in a fast-paced, commission-based environment with a base salary of $50k plus a lucrative commission plan and extensive team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
• Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process.
• Set home center visits utilizing prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments.
• Present display homes and demonstrate features and benefits to create added value.
• Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities and other company sponsored functions.
• Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the CRM system.
