Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Home‑Based Field Service Representative to service, install, and repair customer equipment across the U.S. The role covers warranty work, startup/commissioning of drives, and on-site testing with travel to customer sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in mechanical/electrical service, electrical theory proficiency, and experience with Variable Frequency Drives. Sandboxed onboarding includes extensive training and a mentor program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant mechanical, electrical and/or power distribution service experience.
• Technical proficiency in electronic/electrical component theory.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives.
• Experience writing reports and presenting information to managers and clients.
• Ability to move service equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment.
• Performance of warranty work and start-up service.
• Startup/Commissioning on Schneider Variable Frequency Drives.
• Testing, calibration, and replacement of components on drive products.
• Document technical reports for each site.
