Job summary

LEDVANCE is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth across New York State (excluding NYC). You will call on electrical distributors and authorized agents to grow existing business and pursue new opportunities, focusing on whole-building projects in public and private sectors.

The role is home-based with most time spent at customer locations and occasional overnight travel. The candidate will manage a territory, analyze opportunities, and deliver value-added solutions to maximize

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business.
3–5 years of sales experience required.
Lighting industry experience preferred.
Salesforce experience or similar tool preferred.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Make sales calls on electrical distributor partners and authorized agents to maintain existing relationships and pursue incremental sales.
Sell whole-building projects from new construction to renovations in public or private sectors.
Manage a sales territory, analyze opportunities and drive sales to meet territory targets.
Gather market intelligence and provide value-added solutions for customers.
Spend at least 80% of time meeting customers off-site with occasional overnight travel.
