Job summary

LEDVANCE is seeking a Sales Representative for the Trade (Industrial/Commercial) Channel to drive sales in the Austin, TX region. You will call on electrical distributor partners, pursue incremental opportunities, and promote Sylvania-branded products.

This home-based role requires 80% travel to customer sites, strong communication and closing skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business discipline.
• 3-5 years of sales experience required
• Lighting industry experience preferred
• Salesforce experience or similar tool preferred
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Make sales calls on electrical distributor partners and authorized agents to maintain existing relationships and pursue incremental opportunities.
• Grow LEDVANCE’s market share with Sylvania-branded products while maximizing profitability.
• Manage a sales territory and analyze business opportunities to meet or exceed budgeted sales objectives.
• Gather market intelligence and provide value-added solutions for customers.
• Spend at least 80% of time meeting with customers off-site; occasional overnight travel.
• Collaborate with internal resources while maintaining strong organizational skills and sales-closer mentality.
