The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Seasonal Kettle Program Coordinator in Yakima, WA to manage all aspects of the Christmas kettle operation. You will supervise kettle workers and drivers, coordinate sites, and maintain HR and payroll records.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least six months of related experience, with a focus on detail, confidentiality, and customer service. Work is seasonal, with shifts Monday through Saturday and up to 40 hours per week.

Formación

• High school diploma required; some post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum six months related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Contact store managers to establish kettle sites and secure required documentation.
• Maintain kettle equipment and ensure cleanliness of stands, bells, and aprons.
• Assist with advertising for bell ringers and handle hiring paperwork.
• Interview and hire applicants; ensure forms are completed and background checks started.
• Collect daily timesheets and support payroll data entry; assist with data required by DHQ.
• Coordinate volunteers and driver schedules; assign workers to sites for productivity.
• Inventory equipment at season end and prepare a season-ending brief.
