Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Ambassador to connect with customers, share vendor product knowledge, and upsell to grow sales. You will cultivate repeat clientele and act as the expert for designated vendors and brands represented in-store.

Full-time schedules typically exceed 30 hours per week, with variability by business needs. You will support merchandising initiatives, participate in vendor events, and work closely with stylists and leadership to reach sales goals.

Qualifications

• Retail or sales experience preferred with focus on customer service.
• Ability to upsell and build repeat clientele.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with technology including POS and handheld devices.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience with the customer as priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Coordinate with vendors and store leadership to support branding.
• Maintain neat sales floor and accurate signage for sales/markdowns.
• Plan and execute vendor events to drive sales and engagement.
• Build brand-specific clientele and support local marketing.
