Job summary

Associa is seeking an experienced HOA General Manager in Woodbridge, VA to oversee an onsite association management office, capital improvements, and vendor relationships. You will liaise with homeowners, Board members, committees, and staff to drive initiatives and maintain community standards.

3+ years in a community association, CMCA/AMS/PCAM preferred and company-paid. Strong budgeting, financial interpretation, project management, and exceptional communication are essential to reduce costs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of community association experience.
• CMCA, AMS or PCAM certifications preferred and company-paid.
• Customer service driven and team oriented.
• Ability to interpret financials and create budgets (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, expenses, reserves).
• Effective project management and communication skills.
• Willingness to take ownership and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Implement Board policy and directives within the management agreement and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
• Walk and inspect the community to ensure maintenance and compliance with rules.
• Issue violation notices to homeowners and follow up for corrections.
• Coordinate with homeowners, Board members, staff, and vendors/contractors.
• Prepare and present board packages; coordinate monthly and annual board meetings.
• Create and send weekly communications to homeowners about maintenance and events.
• Assist homeowners with architectural review forms and board decisions.
