Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a Community Manager to oversee multiple community associations in California. You will advise boards, manage vendors, and supervise staff, ensuring fiscal discipline and regulatory compliance.

You will lead budgeting, financial reporting, and annual meeting processes while maintaining strong homeowner relations and high service standards across communities.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred or comparable business experience.
• CMCA preferred; will be required within two years of hire.
• Ability to read and understand financial statements, budgets and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee association fiscal management, prepare annual budgets and monitor adherence.
• Ensure compliance with civil codes and insurance requirements; liaison with counsel as needed.
• Coordinate board meetings, prepare agendas and board packets, and maintain communications with homeowners and vendors.
• May supervise on-site staff, provide training oversight and performance management, and ensure high service standards.
