Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an HOA Community Manager to serve as the primary contact for the community, providing leadership, operational oversight and management support for the Board of Directors.

This role oversees day-to-day operations, including staff management, vendor coordination, maintenance, budgeting and compliance with governing documents, ensuring service delivery aligns with the community’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• Seven years of successful community management experience, including at least four years supervising staff.
• Understanding of physical building management, Condominium law, financial planning and law affecting property management.
• Valid Driver’s License and State Mandated Vehicle Insurance.
• Commitment to obtain CPM, PCAM, ARM or AMS designations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction in developing short-term and long-range plans to achieve Board objectives.
• Review organization structure, job descriptions, and functions; suggest changes to the Board.
• Partner with public, private and volunteer organizations to provide community services.
• Support the activities of Board sub-committees.
• Provide recommendations on revisions to governing documents and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Board to create and implement the annual operating budget.
