Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Community Association Manager to lead a community, align with the Board’s mission, and oversee daily operations and staff. You will manage budgets, ensure compliance, and serve as a liaison among homeowners, the Board, and staff, driving programs and improvements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or related field with several years in community management and a track record of leadership and financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction; or equivalent education/experience.
• Seven years of successful community management experience or equivalent
• Management experience in a small or medium-sized organization with multiple departments

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction in development of short-term and long-range plans; set goals and actions to achieve board objectives.
• Review organization structure, job descriptions, and functions; recommend changes to the Board.
• Partner with public, private and volunteer organizations to provide community services when necessary.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise all community staff per management plan; oversee staff performance.
