Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee multiple associations, advising boards, homeowners, and vendors. You will manage budgets, financials, and compliance while leading staff and coordinating meetings.

You will liaise with counsel, ensure proper records, and drive vendor relations and RFP processes to support a high‑quality community management service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and relationship building background/skills.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening) for board presentations.
• Ability to read and understand financial statements and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage association financials including financial statement review.
• Develop and administer annual budgets for Board approval.
• Handle payments, invoices, audit, tax payments and delinquency monitoring.
• Submit charge-backs for associations monthly per contracts.
• Coordinate and attend client/board meetings; prepare agendas and packets.
• Ensure compliance with civil code and insurance needs; liaison with counsel.
• Oversee annual meeting/election processes and CA filings.
• Maintain vendor relations and oversee RFP processes with analysis.
• Provide content for community website/newsletters; manage files and records.
• Supervise staff and provide training oversight and performance management.
